NBA Playoffs - Conference Finals
1. Los Angeles Lakers vs 2. Denver Nuggets
This by far should be the easiest series that the Lakers would have until the Finals, but then again this is the WCF and the Nuggets are playing some good ball while the Lakers have yet to turn it on for a whole series. Theres no doubt that the stars will shine for both teams when the play against each other but for the Lakers much will be needed from Fisher to keep the team level-headed, Ariza to frustrate Melo and hit the open shot, Farmar/Brown to outplay Jones/Carter, Sasha to be patient and be a pest and Bynum to be a force on the boards and on defense. For Denver they have to keep K-Mart involved somehow because he brings them a tremendous amount of energy, Nene to be physical with the Laker bigs, J.R. to go crazy and their so called "bench-mob" to beat the Real Bench-Mob.
Lakers in 5 or 6
1. Cleveland Cavaliers vs 3. Orlando Magic
The Magic won the season series 2-1 and theres a reason for that. Look for the Magic to finally get somewhat tested in the ECF. Cleveland is playing great and when Lebron gets his real game-face on he will be even harder to stop. The key in this series is whether or not the guards of the Cavs will be able to contain the 3-point gunners on the Magic, if they can force tough shots for the Magic theyll win easily. On the other hand, the Magic play a different style of basketball. Instead of playing inside-out they play outside-in and as long as this team hits 3's throughout the game, theyll make Dwight even better because he'll have time to crash the offensive boards for dunks and alot of and-1's. Its going to be a sight to see Lebron blocking shots of Dwight and Dwight finally putting up a challenge for Lebron when he tries to throw it down.
Cavs in 6 (hopefully theres a Game 7 though)

NBA Playoffs - Conference Semifinals
1. Los Angeles Lakers vs 5. Houston Rockets
The Lakers have such a well-rounded team that they can play any type of style that they want to and they have alot of bodies that they can rotate in and out and in different positions as well which will create different matchup problems for the Rockets. For the Rockets they must rely heavily solely on Yao Ming and Luis Scola both are strong and have complimentary games. These 2 guys have to play at a high level the whole series if they want to keep it close
Lakers in 6
2. Denver Nuggets vs 6. Dallas Mavericks
The Nuggets are playing good ball at the perfect time and they look to get solid contributions from role players coming off the bench, especially from J.R. Smith and Chris Anderson. On the other hand, the Mavs have a talented team and if they can finally mesh sometime in the series they could come out the winners. The key in this matchup is Dirk, whether he can put points on the board or get shutdown by numerous defenders that the Nuggets could throw at him.
Nuggets in 6
1. Cleveland Cavaliers vs 4. Atlanta Hawks
Whos going to put a limit on Lebron James' all-around ability? If the Hawks can find an answer for that question, they'll have a chance in winning the series. Realistically that probably won't happen because when both teams take the floor Lebron will be the strongest player on the court. Not to mention Lebron just won his first of many MVP's...
Cleveland in 5
2. Boston Celtics vs 3. Orlando Magic
Both teams fought through adversity in the first round triumphs. The Celtics found their point guard for the future and received solid contributions from all the big men in the rotation. The Magic found out how to close ball games and play team basketball. This series is a toss up and can go either way. In the end don’t underestimate the heart of a champion.
